Okay the celebrating part is fun and all but the actual turning 40, I can't say I'm too thrilled!
That's it, no more 30 something. I'm forty! 4-0! Hmmmmmmmmm. I've noticed that I'm having a hard time reading the fine print these days, and the maps in our guidebook! Is it all downhill from here??!
My day was nice...I went for an early breakfast near the Paddington markets with Fiona S., had a haircut with Kylie at Toni and Guy in Paddington, had a nice wander around Oxford Street, spent some time at Bondi, ate a fantastic chocolate tart; delish bacon, cherry tomato, spinach tart; devoured some amazing Malaysian food; lovely chocolate cake and yummy red wine.
I started the week trying to fight this aging thing and had four brutal workouts between Monday to Wednesday. It didn't last though....ate FAR too much on Thursday, Friday and now Saturday. It's not looking good the next two weeks either -- holiday at the beach equals, eating and drinking at the beach. Back to the gym in two weeks I hope!
