Taronga Zoo

We finally made it to Sydney's Taronga Zoo.  We went there with my kiwi friend Kim and we also met up with Kai and his family Tanya, Chris and Cody.  Kai was in Fiona's daycare back in Vancouver.  They have recently transfered over to Sydney for a two year stint.  It was nice to  share the day with some familiar Canadians and a Kiwi.

Normally it would cost over $100 to spend the day at the zoo but we lucked out and got a free corporate family pass from a Mom at Margot's school.  We also lucked out and found street parking that was super close to the entrance and for free!!  The zoo is located in Mosman and is set in a beautiful location with glorious 360 degree views.  The animals live comfortably in large areas and look healthy and happy.

It was a full but BRILLIANT day!

Cable car that takes you from one end of the zoo to the other.

Margot almost fits the description - World's heaviest baby at 10 lbs!

Such beautiful graceful creatures!

The kids have new parents.

What big ears to hear Mommy and Daddy with!
