Last weekend we went to a farm stay in a suburb of Port Stephens called Bob's Farm (about a 2 and a half hour drive from our house). We went up there with Vic, Mars, Kat and Nic and Dee, Adam, Ethan, and Flinn. It was a blast and a definite highlight of the year! We stayed at Kookaburra's Cottage. Scott and Louise are super nice and every day at 5pm, Scott took us around the farm to feed the animals, help him with jobs, etc. The weather could have been better though. We had one hot day and one super cold day!

The girls
Poor buggers!!
The sheep were first dewormed. Scott injected white medicine into their mouths via syringe. Then for the males that were still young, we had to castrate them but putting a rubber band around the scrotum. Eventually after about 2 weeks, without any blood circulation, the scrotum will fall off!
Poor boy limped away after the deed!
