Glass beads....

When we first arrived in Australia, I wanted to enrol in some classes (cooking, cheese making, art, photography, photoshop, even SAP maybe??) but the year flew by, it got busy, not much is offered around here, it just didn't happen....until this final term.

I've been taking a glass flame work beading class in Rozelle every Thursday night at the Sydney Community College; it goes for 8 weeks.  I'm really enjoying it BUT its a major hassle getting there and back each week -- it's a major hassle but worth it nonetheless!  I have to get to the city (by bus/train or foot/bus) and then another bus to get to Rozelle -- it's a minimum 90 minute journey.  The class runs from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.  I usually leave around 4:20pm and get home around 10:30pm!  Crazy but fun!
